  • Vertigo: Dizziness symptoms usually last less than 2 minutes provoked by moving the head into a certain position. Balance deficits may be present.
  • Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV): A disorder caused by problems in the inner ear. This is a sudden onset of symptoms caused by a change in head position. Vertigo symptoms are present.
